We are very excited to welcome Raine to to our home! Raine is the daughter of Remington Ringmaster, grand daughter of Ritzilyn Brandon. A dream come true for me. I have spent years studying Toby (Remington Ringmaster), his children and his luck in the Show ring (s) it’s a great honor to have his daughter.
We have a special date planned for her first litter.
We welcome you to come back for updates on Raine.

Golden retriever study suggests neutering affects dog health
A Team of researchers at the University of California, Davis examined 759 Golden Retrievers in a study finding risk for developing certain cancers and joint diseases after neutering under one years of age.
Below you can read the facts & findings by clicking the links. It is very interesting to read that they found that US pet owners spay/neuter under a year to prevent pet over population or to avoid unwanted behaviors. However in Europe Spay/Neutering is usually avoided not only by owners but by trainers and that it’s not promoted by animal trust authorities.
A MUST READ to all GOLDEN owners IMHO.

Blizzard Warnings
Eddie, Duke & two of Jewels pups & I traveled up the Alaskan Highway to Anchorage Wednesday Feb. 1st, 2012.
My handler Amanda Ashmore arranged for a photo shoot for the two boys that afternoon .. a bit windy & very snowy we had a beautiful time romping in the fresh snow. Pictures to be posted shortly. A Big Thanks to KH Photography (Krissy) out of Anchorage, AK !!!
*Tweed and Sugar flew out to their new homes and arrived safe & sound! (So proud of this litter between our Jewel X Troy).
We had no idea we would be trapped in a blizzard until Saturday. The boys & I has a 3 nt retreat @ the Lindquist HomeStead in Eagle River, Alaska. So much new snow to play in & great company. The blizzard created non drivable conditions between Anchorage and the Kenai Peninsula. We had an Avalanche 100 feet wide & 7 feet deep that spread across the road. The blizzard white out conditions further made the road for several days DANGEROUS to drive though it was open & some did travel, we hunkered down @ the Lyndquist HomeStead for great company.
We arrived back to Kenai about 2:30pm Saturday to a house full of kids (furry & human) that missed me terribly. Nothing seems quite right with out mom around. Teirra and my mother Audrey did a super Job holding down the fort with Mikala handling all the dog chores. What a real TEAM I have! I am so Blessed. Pictures to follow on our time away from home.
