Mikala and I are getting rather excited now that the days are nearing closer to our take off March 7th, 2012!
Only 4 weeks & two more days … here we gooooooooooooooo
Can hardly believe this will make year 3 for the two of us. Mikala being only 9 years old on her first Crufts with her wee baby brother. By year two we were blessed by Ruth Byers allowing Mikala to show her Evie. Now year three … a mystery who she will be handling this year but soon we will let you all know ;0)
We will create a Crufts page and one for all our beautiful travels we have done. What an amazing time we have had meeting golden lovers from across the globe. Teirra (my second oldest daughter) and I traveled Ireland Dec. 25th – Jan. 2011. Share a whole lot’a CRACK with now good friends while there. I will share all about that & post photo’s.. u don’t want to miss.
“Cheers” for a super sunny wintery day here in Alaska
Eddie, Duke & two of Jewels pups & I traveled up the Alaskan Highway to Anchorage Wednesday Feb. 1st, 2012.
My handler Amanda Ashmore arranged for a photo shoot for the two boys that afternoon .. a bit windy & very snowy we had a beautiful time romping in the fresh snow. Pictures to be posted shortly. A Big Thanks to KH Photography (Krissy) out of Anchorage, AK !!!
*Tweed and Sugar flew out to their new homes and arrived safe & sound! (So proud of this litter between our Jewel X Troy).
We had no idea we would be trapped in a blizzard until Saturday. The boys & I has a 3 nt retreat @ the Lindquist HomeStead in Eagle River, Alaska. So much new snow to play in & great company. The blizzard created non drivable conditions between Anchorage and the Kenai Peninsula. We had an Avalanche 100 feet wide & 7 feet deep that spread across the road. The blizzard white out conditions further made the road for several days DANGEROUS to drive though it was open & some did travel, we hunkered down @ the Lyndquist HomeStead for great company.
We arrived back to Kenai about 2:30pm Saturday to a house full of kids (furry & human) that missed me terribly. Nothing seems quite right with out mom around. Teirra and my mother Audrey did a super Job holding down the fort with Mikala handling all the dog chores. What a real TEAM I have! I am so Blessed. Pictures to follow on our time away from home.
